Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience
- Conduct assessments and track student progress
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's development
- Incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies into daily activities
- Integrate physical education, math, literacy education, and other subjects into the curriculum
- Provide tutoring or early intervention when needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for young children
- Understanding of child welfare and development
- Experience with Montessori or other alternative teaching methods is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
