Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated sleep technician to join our team at a Sleep Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, EEG monitoring, telemetry respiratory diagnostics, with knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation. Basic knowledge of sleep study set up is required.
Sleep study include the process of analyzing, monitoring and recording physiologic data during sleep and wakefullness. Sleep trainee program requires enrollment and subseqent completion of A step program of American Sleep Medicine, certification or . Pay is based on the experience and completion of A step program, certification or registration.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations on patients
- Monitor vital signs during diagnostic evaluations
- Conduct sleep studies and analyze results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
Skills
- - Understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in sleep medicine is a plus
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately
- Prior experience working in a sleep center is advantageous
