- Job Summary
- Coordinates the intake and placement of all admissions and intra-unit transfers in accordance with the Children’s of Alabama House Coordinator Guidelines and Admission Policy. Collaborates with physician and nursing staff to prioritize admissions and intra-unit transfers based on medical needs. Communicates and collaborates with all departments as appropriate to maximize the efficiency of bed utilization and expedite the throughput process. Serves as a designated leadership representative accountable and responsible for coordinating the provision of efficient patient care operations on their assigned shifts.
- Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience
- ADN required, BSN preferred. Two years experience at Children's of Alabama preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- BLS certification required. AL Nursing License required.
