Job Summary
- This position is responsible for all referral functions within the practice. This includes answering the phone, scheduling appointments, entering patient information in the EMR system, verifying patient insurance information and coordinating all other activities to close the loop on referrals in our office. This position will also assist with front office responsibilities as needed.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Three years of healthcare administrative experience
- Strongly prefer knowledge of referral process and insurance processes
- Must have knowledge of various insurance company processes, diagnosis coding and any other duties required to provide quality care to our patients
- Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
- Ability to respond to patient family needs with compassion and understanding
