In addition, you'll manage leaves of absence, including personal leaves and FMLA, by issuing approvals, reviewing medical certifications, and tracking leave hours.As the HR contact for workplace injuries, you'll complete First Reports of Injuries, ensuring our team remains safe and supported while communicating with Workers' Compensation adjusters as needed. - Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or two years of relevant HR experience required.

- Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities. This could include posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling and attending interviews, facilitating building tours, preparing and delivering job offers, ensuring pre-employment requirements are successfully completed, etc.
- Effectively process position and status changes, rehires, and terminations within the Chileda HRIS system.
- Manage employee electronic personnel records by storing and uploading documents accordingly.
- Assist as the point person for campus staff questions regarding accessing the Chileda HRIS system and troubleshooting any accessibility challenges.
- Serve as backup to the Human Resources Manager in performing duties related to bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Collaborate with Chileda leaders and peers in managing, organizing, and facilitating employee engagement activities and events.
- Provide support to leaders and employees in answering questions regarding the Chileda HRIS system and troubleshooting accessibility challenges.
- Manage all aspects of Leaves of Absence, including Personal Leaves and FMLA for employees, issuing leave approvals, reviewing medical certifications, communication, and tracking of leave hours.
- Serve as HR contact for all workplace injuries, complete First Report of Injuries for all recordable workplace injuries, and communicate with Workers' Compensation adjusters for open cases (on an as needed basis).
- Document all OSHA reportables and collaborate with Human Resources and Quality Assurance leadership regarding OSHA recordables.
- Administer the Chileda Approved Driver program and collaborate with leaders and staff regarding the status of Approved Driver requests while effectively maintaining the Approved Driver list.
- Manage Chileda's Treats and Tributes program to celebrate staff promotion, recognition, birthdays, and work anniversaries.
- Develop and distribute the Weekly HR Update to the entire agency.
- Support the HR team in initiatives and projects focused on developing talent, onboarding, policy, benefits, or employee relations or engagement activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
