Resource Development Manager

Job Summary :   Chinatown Community Development Center (Chinatown CDC) seeks a dynamic and results-driven individual to lead donor engagement efforts and oversee the planning and execution of impactful special events. The Manager will design and implement strategies to acquire new donors, cultivate and steward existing relationships, manage donor communications, and orchestrate special events that foster community involvement and philanthropy. This role is essential to expanding Chinatown CDC's reach and revenue sources.  Status :   Full-time, Nonexempt, Regular Location :   Chinatown neighborhood, San Francisco Hours :   Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. Salary :   $93,409 -$98,325; Comprehensive benefits The Organization :   A private non-profit founded in 1977, Chinatown Community Development Center believes in a comprehensive vision of community. Essential Functions   Individual Giving :   Develop and implement fundraising strategies to diversify revenue streams and increase philanthropic support from individuals.  Create specific plans for donor acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship in collaboration with the Director of Resource Development throughout the year.  Craft compelling content and donor appeals for newsletters, direct mail programs, annual reports, websites, and social media to support fundraising and enhance Chinatown CDC's brand.  Analyze donor data in the Chinatown CDC's CRM and conduct wealth screening searches.  Assess individual giving trends and refine fundraising strategies to optimize performance.  Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM system, ensuring timely data entry, donor stewardship, and gift acknowledgment processes.  Special Events :   Identify sponsorship opportunities and secure in-kind donations for the annual gala.  Led the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events, including the annual gala, building celebrations, and other donor cultivation activities.  Manage event logistics, timelines, and volunteer coordination to ensure seamless and successful events.  Support Comprehensive Fund Development Efforts :   Develop an in-depth understanding of Chinatown CDC's programs, initiatives, and needs.  Provide prompt, friendly customer service to all stakeholders.  Work with the Director of Resource Development and department team members on various projects as assigned.  Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) A bachelor's degree is required, and you must have at least 5 years of fund development experience in a professional fundraising environment.  ​ Preferred Qualifications Skilled and creative content developer for social media communication.  Proven success in implementing innovative and effective fundraising strategies.  Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities tasks, and meet tight deadlines.  Team player who is able to work in collaboration but also works well independently to achieve goals.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive storytelling.  Experienced in using donor management databases and prospect research tools.  Proficiency in Salesforce Database, Adobe InDesign, Canva, SharePoint, Microsoft, and Teams.    Powered by JazzHR
