What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver for Small Independent School position at Chinquapin Preparatory School?
Position Summary: This is a part-time (25 hours per week) bus driver position for college preparatory middle and high school students to and from Houston and Highlands, TX. This is a school year position. Work is performed under the supervision of the Head of School.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Valid Texas CDL required
School Bus Driver Certification, preferred
Two routes per day between Houston and Highlands
Salary and Benefits:
Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) served in the dining hall when school is in session
Appropriate deductions for and payments to FICA, Social Security, Medicare insurance, and annuity, as applicable
Automatic contribution of 5% of your compensation to a retirement account
Professional development (PD) funds for courses and/or materials.
