Chip’s Pickleball Club is a vibrant, community-focused pickleball club. We offer a range of programming, events, and facilities designed to cater to players of all ages and skill levels. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking passionate and experienced pickleball instructors to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time every time for each shift you work.
- Conduct pickleball lessons, classes, and clinics for individuals and groups of various skill levels and ages, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
- Work with management to develop lesson plans and training programs tailored to the needs and goals of participants.
- Provide personalized instruction, feedback, and guidance to help players improve their skills, technique, and strategy.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, enjoyment, and growth.
- Promote safety, sportsmanship, and respect among players at all times.
- Assist with organizing and coordinating pickleball events, tournaments, and special programs as needed.
- Stay informed about updates to USAP rules, industry trends, and best practices in pickleball instruction.
Qualifications:
- Certified pickleball instructor preferred: Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) or Pickleball Coaching International (PCI).
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in pickleball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Previous experience teaching pickleball lessons or clinics to individuals and groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with players of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and supportive attitude towards teaching and coaching.
- Reliable, organized, and punctual with a strong commitment to professionalism.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, but not required.
- Physical demands:
- Stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat/kneel, bend, jump, and run**
