What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer/Finisher/Form Setters position at Chippewa Concrete Services, Inc?
Chippewa Concrete Services, Inc was started in 1979 and has grown into a concrete contractor that installs Curb & Gutters, Flatwork and Paving throughout Southwest / Northwest / Northcentral Wisconsin and Southeast Minnesota.
We currently have immediate openings for experienced concrete laborers, form setters, and concrete finishers. These skilled individuals would part of the Wisconsin Laborers and start earning a heavy highway wage of $40.57 an hour with health, dental, retirement and training opportunities.
If you are one of these people(s) that is looking to join our company, you will be working on a crew that would follow the directions of the Foreman to set and grade the form line to the required depth, pull and strike off concrete during the placement and finish the concrete to the required texture. This work may include curb and gutter placed by hand or machine, flatwork of both sidewalk and driveways, and roadway paving by hand or machine. The position is seasonal full time, working from April through November based on weather and demand. This position requires travel, overnight stays (which we provide the lodging if needed), and the availability to work overtime.
Position Requirements
· Must be a least 18 years old
· Valid driver’s license or ability to get to work
· Minimum of 1 years of concrete experience
· Physically fit to work long days and in different environments
· Ability to work with others, take directions and be a team member
· Must be safety conscientious
