Chippewa Packaging, Inc. is hiring a Quality Tech for our 2nd shift!
Quality Tech Duties:
- Follow GMP, HACCP, and other Food Safety and Quality policies
- Maintain quality assurance by completing inspections on all products/jobs and maintaining accurate paperwork
- Complete random line and project inspections
- Assist in setting up jobs
- Assist in QC testing of product as needed
- Inspect job folders for accuracy
- Inspect Daily Output Sheets and productivity reports for accuracy
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Assist in documenting and completing corrective actions when quality issues arise
- Work with the Quality Manager and other quality techs to facilitate and maintain quality procedures and processes
- Work on production line when required
- Work as a team with other customer service, sales, and production personnel
- Working outside the typical work day will be required, sometimes on short notice
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Follow dress code
- All other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills Required for Quality Techs:
- Excellent attention to detail and quality
- Excellent basic math skills
- Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment at times
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer and software proficient
- Previous experience with quality is preferred
Quality Tech Schedule: 2nd Shift
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and every-other Thursday
4PM-4:30AM (12-Hour Shifts)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
