Chipton-Ross is seeking 2nd Class Shipfitters for a contract opportunity in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Plenty of overtime available!
Per diem is $120.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have shipyard experience.
Must be able to pass a 6"stick welding test using 7018 rods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Single Pass Tack Welding.
2. Burning-Oxygen/Propane Burning Torch.
3. Heating-Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch.
4. Ability to comprehend complex drawings and blueprints.
Must have experience setting up, troubleshooting, and utilizing weld machines.
Must have experience laying out and measuring utilizing the metric system.
Must have experience working with blueprints.
Must have experience working with hand tools.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED preferred
Salary : $25 - $26
