POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in warehouse material handling activities, including loading and unloading tractor trailers.
Participates / shadows / leads on-site system un-crating and crating activities at the EM Certified facility.
Participates / Shadows / leads assessing returned systems and making detailed refurbishment plans.
Participates / shadows on-site system refurbishment activities at EM Certified facility
Provide troubleshooting and repair support within the EM Certified facility
Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with colleagues
Raise awareness of workflow inefficiency with EM Certified Manufacturing Engineer
Provide appropriate input in writing updating and correcting documentation
Perform testing using prescribed methods / work instructions
Performs wide variety of analysis to identify and address problems
Perform machine set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance
Rebuild manufacturing equipment when needed to ensure operability
At least 1 year of manufacturing / Mechanical assembly / Electronics testing required
Previous experience using test equipment preferred.
Previous experience with various material handling equipment preferred (pallet jacks, forklift).
Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required.
Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus
Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs a plus (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in teams with differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required
A 2-year technical degree preferred or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills. Military Technical Training in lieu of technical degree may also be considered
