JOB DESCRIPTION : United Engineers and Constructors is looking for an Electrical Supervising Engineer to lead a team and Controls engineers and designers, providing continuous, on-site support for a nuclear plant in the Detroit/Chicago/Toledo area. Roles & Responsibilities : Work entails supervisory oversight and approval of Engineering Change Packages consisting of: Equipment specifications, data sheets, calculations, and analysis as required to support the design and configuration control process. Equipment specifications include transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS/DC, communication systems, digital and process instrumentation and controls system components. Calculations include electrical studies including short circuit, voltage drop, coordination and arc flash studies using OTI-ETAP software Electrical/I&C design documents including single line diagrams and panel schedules, schematic and wiring diagrams, electrical physical and raceway drawings, lighting and grounding plans, and cable schedules.Supervisory responsibilities include review of proposals, schedules and budgets; monitoring and reporting budget and schedule performance; and providing technical leadership to engineers and designers for the Electrical/I&C discipline.Candidate will support multiple projects and will coordinate activities with clients, contractors, vendors and other members of the project teams
