What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant/Technician position at Chiropractic Physicians?

We are a medical-legal chiropractic practice and have clinics in Tacoma, Federal Way, and Kent. The applicant must be willing to travel in between offices. We are seeking to fill a full-time chiropractic assistant position that will eventually become a registered chiropractic x-ray technician credentialed with the Department of Health.
Some of the Chiropractic Assistant duties include: Answering the phone and scheduling appointments, greet patients and check them in to their appointment, fill records requests from patients and healthcare providers, may assist billing department as needed with accounts receivable/payable by entering payments into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) billing system and following up and with other payors for "payment status" on the patient’s case, be able to collect, register, and process all financial transactions from multiple payor entities, may make bank deposits as needed, rotate between offices in Tacoma, Federal Way, Kent, and Burien.
Some of the Chiropractic X-ray Technician duties include: Completing the Chiropractic X-ray Technician 48-hour training course, successfully passing the exam, and becoming registered with the Department of Health as required by WAC 246-808-215, take x-rays, take patient history, place patient on traction table, apply heat/ice, etc., as directed by the doctor, work closely with doctor and staff to manage daily patient load and office needs, and back up chiropractic assistant duties as needed.
Starting pay ($25 - $30) is dependent upon experience. Pay will increase once the candidate is registered with the Department of Health as a chiropractic x-ray technician.
Clinic hours of operation:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday – 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
