Nordquist Family Chiropractic and Integrated Medicine has been providing quality care to families since 2008. We are a high-volume clinic providing Chiropractic, X-ray, Rehab, Regenerative Medicine and ARNP services.
You’ll be joining a positive atmosphere and supportive team of medical professionals. Our goal is to slowly introduce you to the office, where you can learn all the different aspects that go into day-to-day operation. We are looking for someone who is reliable, timely, ambitious, hardworking, positive, personable, friendly and responsible.
You will be interacting with patients throughout your entire day providing hands on therapy services. Knowledge of human anatomy/the musculoskeletal system is required as you will be doing muscle work, trigger point work, rehab exercises and stretches.
You will also have responsibilities in the back office helping coworkers with patient files, patient statements, and tracking of patient care.
Responsibilities:
· Assist on the floor with patient flow and ensure care is given in a timely manner.
· Chiropractic Assistant duties such as: providing hands on patient care with percussion, trigger point therapy, helping patients with pain and stiffness.
. Take patients through stretches and exercises. Create personalized rehab plans for patients that progress with time.
· Answer phones and schedule patients using Chirotouch software.
· Have a general understanding of how the office runs and be able to perform duties within other positions, mainly the front desk and back office.
· Check files and scan paperwork into electronic files.
* Cover front desk as needed.
- Assist in patient statements and billing.
Hours/Shifts:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Variable hours.
We are looking for an employee to work part-time, roughly 30 hours a week.
Monday: 8:30am - 6pm
Wednesday: 8:30am - 6pm
Thursday: 8:30am - 6pm
Friday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Requirements & Qualifications:
*Knowledge and interest in the human body, specifically the muscular system.
* High School diploma or equivalent education
* 2 years of experience in the medical field (Chiropractic experience preferred).
* Minimum of 2 years experience working in an office setting with a customer service focus
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Reliable, timely and positive
* Your main focus will be assisting the Chiropractors by helping with muscle work and rehab. There will be occasional times where you will have to assist with other office duties.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
