Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time Contractor)
St. Stephens Indian School is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language services during the 2025–2026 school year. This is a part-time, highly flexible role with a schedule coordinated directly with the school.
Compensation
- $90–$120 per hour, depending on experience
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.67 per mile (2025 federal estimate)
- Housing reimbursement available
- $1,000 sign-on bonus
Position details:
- 16 total weeks of on-site service during the school year
- 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday), 7 hours per day (448 hours a year total)
- Exact service windows are flexible and scheduled in conversation with the school
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to eligible students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conducting evaluations and assessments
- Participating in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
- Maintaining documentation of services and student progress
- Developing IEP goals and objectives, and preparing written reports
- Consulting with parents, teachers, and other school staff
- Attending child study team meetings and providing pre-referral input
- Supporting compliance with Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) and federal special education requirements
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, unrestricted SLP license from any U.S. state or territory
- Must pass a federal background check
- U.S. citizenship required
