Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Loyalty Partnerships Manager in the Loyalty Division. The Loyalty team is laser-focused on driving guest engagement through Choice’s award-winning loyalty program, Choice Privileges. As a key member of this team,  you will be at the forefront of building the loyalty partnerships function at Choice and defining how Choice grows through partnerships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the business relationship and partnerships strategy for assigned Loyalty Growth partnerships. Work with internal teams, including Choice Privileges strategy, CP Operations, Marketing, and Finance, to develop a marketing and growth plan to increase revenue for Choice Hotels, CP share of wallet, and strengthen partner relationships.

  • Forecast, monitor, track, and report the financial performance of assigned partners, delivering against target results.  Responsible for monthly tracking against the plan, identifying trends, analyzing program effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvements, and implementing these to drive incremental value.

  • Re-negotiate partner agreements to achieve mutual business goals. Execute contractual requirements and work with legal if / when issues arise.  

  • Collaborate with the CP Operations team to track the progress of development for any partner enhancements that require IT development. 

  • Assist with business development to identify and pitch new potential Loyalty Growth partnership offerings.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • 5-7 years of professional partnerships experience.

  • Degree in management/marketing or a related field preferred.

  • Self-motivated team player with a proven ability to work with individual and team goals.

  • Experience with financial forecasting and reporting.  Passion for data-driven marketing and business intelligence across channels.  Proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive results.

  • Persuasive, confident networker with a track record of success in growing new markets and partnerships

  • Superior knowledge regarding the practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of corporate partnerships.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Solutions oriented, problem solving mentality a must.

  • Must be creative, detail-oriented, possess a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn.

  • Comfortable with Ambiguity; proven ability to work across teams and organization.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Travel may be required (10%)

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director of Loyalty Partnerships. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Loyalty Partnerships Manager, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we’re located across from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.

This is an in-office role, with associates expected to work 4 days per week from our office. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,088 to $120,254 annually. In addition to the annual salary, this role is eligible for an annual bonus based on the terms of Choice's Management Incentive Plan (MIP).

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
