What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Developer II position at Choctaw Nation?
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Designs, Develops, maintains, integrates and implements web-centric applications, processes, and projects in support of enterprise application development strategy.
Primary Tasks:
1. Design, build, test and implement moderately complex information systems using established processes in small scale multi-tier environments.
2. Provides feedback throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) starting with requirements analysis and modeling though implementation, debugging, deployment and ongoing support.
3. Create and maintain basic interoperability between large scale information systems.
4. Provide basic feedback to leadership regarding direction and focus of enterprise application strategy and software architecture.
5. Track and maintain all development activities in designated software development tracking solution
6. Provide development and production support to troubleshoot large scale information system related issues.
7. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or 4 years directly related professional experience
- Good knowledge of software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques
- Good knowledge of the following technologies: .NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, WebAPI, REST, MVC with Razor
- Good knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Git or other Source control
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodology
- Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server database, TSQL scripting, SSIS packages, views, stored procedures, and functions
- Knowledge of the following JavaScript frameworks a plus: Angular, React, Vue, Ember, or Node
- IT Certifications a plus
