SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the drop team's compliance to all applicable Gaming Regulations and procedures. Reports incidents or conditions that compromise team's ability to adhere to Gaming Regulations.
Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to contribute to a safe work environment by complying with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

AGE and GAMING: 21 years of age or above
Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED is required.
TESTING: Must score a minimum of 85% on the Count Operations Math test. Must take the required testing identified for this position.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Must be able to operate electric carts and count room related equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures and controls.
- Performs aspects of Count Operations procedures on floor and in count room in accordance with department procedures and Internal Controls.
- Retrieves cash boxes and/or coin buckets from the slot machines.
- Operates electric carts and tows multiple trailers safely and efficiently.
- Sorts, counts, and wraps coins using various equipment.
- Sorts coins by denomination, using coin separating machines. Removes counterfeit, mutilated cash/coins, and separates foreign chips.
- Counts, verifies and records the games revenue of each box or container while in the secured count room.
- Sorts the contents of each drop box by cash, coin or chip and then by denomination of each.
- Maintains knowledge of and performs functions in accordance with established gaming regulations and procedures.
- Understands and follows all departments' policies and procedures.
- Lets by setting a positive example to all Associates.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
