Outside Sales Representative
This position is responsible for new business development by establishing and building relationships with clients to purchase wholesale kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. On-boarding new clients is key in this position and the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications.
Requirements - to perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:
- Understand how to market and sell cabinets into the Kitchen and Bath industry.
- Establish Choice Cabinet as a supplier with kitchen and bath showroom dealers, builders, contractors, remodelers and apartment renovation clients.
- Generate and develop new client relationships with prospects within assigned territory to increase revenue. (Showrooms, Contractors, Remodelers, Builders, Apartment Restoration)
- Coordinate with customers to maintain appropriate quantities of promotional materials.
- Consistently works with customers to retain and increase their business.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals web-based inquiries and from field activity.
- Possess the necessary knowledge of Choice Cabinet products and how to present the advantages and value proposition of Choice Cabinet.
- Accurately maintain customer database and generate sales reports as needed.
- Coordinate effectively with support staff and operations at headquarters to accomplish the work required to close sales and arrange orders.
- Attend Trade Shows and Industry Events
- Requires 90% travel withing approximately 1 hour distance.
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
Experience/Certifications
- Two years minimum experience in cabinetry or similar industry
- 2020 design experience or like software
Skills/Abilities:
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Stong customer service and presentation ability to create relationships
- Self-starter with determination and persistence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management, extremely organized and follow-up skills
- Computer proficiency, Oracle/NetSuite a plus, work, Excel, Outlook
Compensation/Benefits
- $60k-$100k
- Commission with bi-weekly draw
