What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at Choice Stairways, Inc?
Over the last 40 years, Choice Stairways has provided homeowners, contractors, and new construction home builders with quality Stair and Rail products. We are looking for qualified, experienced individuals to join our Outside Sales Team, specifically covering our growing Carolina territory. This will be a remote, on the road, and onsite position within our Columbia, SC facility.
Key responsibilities of an Outside Sales Representative include:
· Develop new business by locating opportunities and generating leads
· Maintain & Increase existing customer sales in pre-established geographic sales territory
· Meet monthly sales goals outlined by Management
Job Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in the Construction, Builder or Builder Supply fields.
· Construction related experience required. Fundamentals of framing, stair geometry, stair and rail installation all highly desired
· Comfortable prospecting new business, and calling on existing contacts in the Builder industry - Specifically National and Regional residential builders.
· Ability to connect with decision makers and build lasting relationships
· Solid experience in pre-visit planning, and account development
· Exceptional communication skills and organizational abilities
· Proficient in MS Office; focus on Excel
· Basic knowledge of fundamental mathematic operations
· Must be teachable with a strong desire to learn, and know when to ask questions
· Possess valid driver’s license and has reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
