What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant position at Chopurian Law Firm, PC?
Chopurian Law Firm, PC is seeking to hire a full time experienced receptionist (prior experience at a law firm for 10 years is required) to manage our front desk on a full-time basis. This position is best suited for a candidate who is able to make a long term commitment, this is not a part-time position nor an internship.
As a receptionist or paralegal, you will be the first point of contact for our law firm. Duties include: administrative support, greeting clients, coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
REQUIREMENTS: If you do not meet one of the below requirements, DO NOT APPLY.
- At least 5-10 years of prior experience as a receptionist or paralegal at a law firm within United States. This requirement is a necessity, if you do not meet this expectation, do NOT apply!
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be proficient in BOTH English and Armenian.
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with no spelling errors in English and Armenian . You will be required to write a brief at our firm, inability to do so is an absolute disqualification.
- Experience with word, pdf, emails, and office equipment (e.g. printer, scanner, and fax machine)
- Help colleagues and meet deadlines without excuses.
- Professional attitude, appearance and attire
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
Job Type: Full Time (8:30 A.M.- 5:30 P.M. M-F) in Office.

Responsibilities
- Answering multi-line telephone calls, taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate person; Greet and welcome clients.
- Assisting attorneys and paralegals in making copies and inputting information in the law database.
- Communicate with clients about the progress of their case.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Keep files organized.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, emailing, and faxing.
