Chopurian Law Firm, PC is seeking to hire an experienced receptionist to manage our front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks on a full-time basis. This position is best suited for a candidate who is able to make a long term commitment, this is not a part-time position nor an internship.

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our law firm. Duties include: administrative support, greeting clients, coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. We are looking to hire a receptionist with a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Ultimately, a receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes clients positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Answering multi-line telephone calls, taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate person.
  • Greet and welcome clients.
  • Assisting attorneys and paralegals in making copies and inputting information in the law database.
  • Communicate with clients about the progress of their case.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Keep files organized.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, emailing, and faxing.

Skills

  • At least 3 years of prior experience as a receptionist/ front office representative in a similar role.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Armenian.
  • Experience with word, pdf, emails, and office equipment (e.g. printer, scanner, and fax machine)
  • Help colleagues and meet deadlines without excuses.
  • Hard working, able to multi-task and use time management skills in order to prioritize duties throughout the day.
  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Job Type: Full Time (8:30 A.M.- 5:30 P.M. M-F) in Office.

  • Full time position (we will only consider applicants who are able to commit full time, this position is not part time nor an internship).
  • Professional/formal attire is required.
  • Working remotely is not an option.
