Chord Energy is seeking an innovative and resourceful Reservoir Engineering Technician/Analyst to support the Business Development department. The selected candidate will primarily support reservoir engineers in the Business Development group. The position will report to the Business Development Manager, and is located in Downtown Houston, Texas. Level and salary commensurate with background and experience. Essential Job Functions: Prepare & maintain Aries databases and cases for acquisition, merger, and divestiture evaluations Responsible for managing data provided in VDR and maintaining diligence requests Assist engineers in determining capex, LOE, and economic assumptions for evaluation models and building supporting presentation materials Build, run and QC initial economic evaluations for acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures Build, maintain, and QC public data source (IHS & Enverus) projects for use in subsurface evaluation workflows Optimize internal processes and surveillance methods Support engineers and management with ad-hoc data gathering and analysis requests Build tools and workflows to make routine department tasks efficient and enhance analysis Perform and report basin activity surveillance Develop and maintain high quality standards for department data Handle multiple projects concurrently This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position Incumbents will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and duties outside of their normal responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.
