The job operates in a professional environment. The Low Voltage Field Professional is responsible for installing all low voltage wiring for Access Control, CCTV, Data, and Intrusion Systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This opportunity includes working in different locations including new construction and occupied residential homes. The Low Voltage Field Professional reports to the Regional ManagerDirector.

Essential Job Functions and Qualifications

-Maintain a clean-cut and professional appearance.

-Demonstrate physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, crawl, walk, climb, kneel, bend, lift, carry heavy objects, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

-Demonstrate the capability to carry and climb ladders.

-Express a desire to actively learn systems, problem-solve, and provide excellent customer service.

-Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, basic computer networks, and other necessary technologies.

-Preferably, have experience in similar fields.

-Possess desired certifications, including Access Control, CCTV, Alarm Technician Level I or II.

-Identify wiring colors and all types of color-coded products.

-Demonstrate the ability to read and understand basic blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

-Highly desire experience with automation platforms like Alarm.com or equivalent.

-Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of blueprints and measurements.

-Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Display strong attention to detail and accuracy.

-Demonstrate the ability to work independently on assigned duties.

-Showcase exceptional organization and time management skills.

-Ensure regular full-time work attendance.

-Exhibit the ability to use a telephone, computer, and other required technology.

-Be capable of remaining stationary for at least 50% of the time.

-Constantly engage in sitting, walking, talking, use of fingers and arms, mental awareness, and hearing.

-Ensure corrected vision and hearing are within the normal range.

-Exhibit mental alertness and situational awareness.

-Possess a valid Driver’s license and a good driving record.

-Meet company drug screen requirements and pass AESBL background check.

-Have access to reliable transportation.

-Must be fluent in English.

-Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

Ø Conduct yourself with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

-Perform installation and commissioning of wiring and equipment in existing homes and businesses as well as new construction environments.

-Pre-wire new construction homes for home security, audio, video, and phone/data lines.

-Resolve customer issues and concerns.

-Check-in with Supervisor daily to discuss the day’s production and address any issues, questions, or concerns.

-Document the outcome of each task or project, along with any issues or concerns, and resolve customer issues.

-Collect and secure customer payments when needed.

-Build relationships and promote excellent customer service, integrity, and professionalism.

-Prioritize courtesy and safety, including when driving.

-Work overtime when necessary to complete assigned jobs.

-Adapt to changing assignments and/or schedules.

-Perform essential job functions in an environment that may include increased levels of work-related stress.

-Complete other projects, opportunities, and reports assigned by the supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
