Event Delivery and Setup (Delivery Driver)
Part Time - Hourly
The delivery driver’s job is to deliver, present, and display food in a high standard while also maintaining a respectful and positive disposition. Delivery Drivers report to the Hospitality Manager.
JOB DUTIES:
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Can work quickly to set up buffets, food stations, and other event needs
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with the event host before, during, and after event execution
- Uphold Chowgirls brand through strong communication and customer service skills
- Load and unload event equipment/food at Chowgirls Headquarters before and after event execution
- Maintains expectations for Chowgirls aesthetics standards
- Must be a problem solver, have flexible thinking, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
- Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of our seasonal and staple menu items
- Have knowledge of ingredient lists, especially regarding dietary and allergen information
DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
- Ability to prioritize tasks, remain focused and work independently and collaboratively
- Email access and literacy
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Accurately documents on the clock vs off the clock time per shift in Nowsta
- Follows all traffic related laws and regulations while driving a Chowgirls vehicle
COMMUNICATION
- Attend and actively participate in all required company meetings
- Respond to internal and external communications within 12 hours
- Present a professional positive attitude among coworkers, vendors, and clients
- Facilitate information flows throughout workplace
- Maintain availability for communication by phone and email
CULTURE
- Participate in Chowgirls training programs
- Cultivate general knowledge of Chowgirls handbook, history, values, and vision
- Guide peers and Chowgirls forward by sharing identified strengths or skill areas of specialization
