Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the CE&I department, providing strategic leadership and operational management.
- Develop and implement processes and standards to ensure high-quality inspection services.
- Serve as a mentor to inspection staff, providing guidance on professional development and certifications.
- Manage all phases of CE&I projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Review project plans and specifications to verify construction compliance.
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and a high level of satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster future opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate CE&I staff to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.
- Provide ongoing support and training for certifications, such as NICET, to enhance staff capabilities.
- Oversee field inspections and material testing to ensure construction meets design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and generate reports for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
- Identify opportunities to expand CE&I services and support the preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Collaborate with leadership to align department goals with company objectives.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for the CE&I team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction inspection, construction engineering, or CE&I services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or NICET Level III/IV certification in Transportation/Highway Construction.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
