About the Role:
We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations and logistics processes. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will manage a small team, ensure smooth inbound and outbound shipments, enhance supply chain efficiency, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse management, logistics, trucking, and QuickBooks, preferably within the wine distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping wine products.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize QuickBooks for inventory tracking, order management, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and develop a small warehouse team, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with trucking companies and vendors to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
- Maintain warehouse organization, safety standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement in warehouse and logistics efficiency.
- Work closely with the CEO to align logistics operations with company strategy.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, and distribution logistics.
- Experience with QuickBooks for warehouse and logistics tracking.
- Background in wine distribution or beverage logistics is a plus.
- Ability to manage a team, set priorities, and implement process improvements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of trucking regulations and best practices.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, in-person role in Orlando, FL.
- Hands-on leadership managing daily warehouse and logistics operations.
- Direct collaboration with CEO to drive operational success.
