What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Builder position at Chris-Craft?

We are seeking a Cabinet Builder to become a part of our team building the finest boats in the industry that are known around the world. You will be responsible for assembling and fine-tuning cabinet components. We use only the finest materials in the industry to create world-class interiors from exotic woods and finishes.
- Able to follow work instructions for the specific job and stay on task
- Able to use basic hand and power tools (drills, screw guns, hand tools, routers, etc.)
- Assemble and fine tune cabinet pieces cut on our CNC mills
- Assemble and fine tune acrylic, Corian, and other materials
- Install custom stainless-steel hardware
- Install and trim edge banding
- Install custom stainless steel hardware
- Adjust assemblies to fit pre-installation
- Assemble parts for other departments as needed
- Deliver goods to designated areas
- Able to meet production requirements and deadlines
- Willingness to cross-train and learn other areas
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Up to 2 years' previous experience in construction or fine cabinetry assembly and/or installation
- Technical school certification may replace experience
- Familiarity with tools, such as drills, screw guns, saws, and pocket drills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to do basic math
- Able to work with a team and independently
- Good attitude and attendance required
