Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and possess excellent organizational skills. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be responsible for collecting medical records, writing demands, filing suit, sending and answering discovery, setting up scheduling orders and keeping all clients updated on their cases.
Responsibilities
- Collecting medical records, writing demands, e-filing, answering and sending discovery, setting up scheduling orders, and preparing for mediations and trials.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage case calendars and deadlines to ensure timely filings and responses.
- Perform daily data entry on our case management systems.
- Maintain organized files both electronically and physically.
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to ensure they are treating and to keep clients updated on case status
- Support administrative tasks as required to facilitate the smooth operation of the office.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm, preferably in personal injury law.
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Docusign.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Experience with legal drafting and document review processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
