Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and tree care, with experience in tree trimming and the operation of bucket trucks. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing essential tasks to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
• Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches and perform necessary maintenance.
• Conduct routine inspections of trees to identify signs of disease or damage.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
• Utilize GIS technology to map and manage tree inventory effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tree trimming, landscape maintenance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning techniques and pest management.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for operating company vehicles.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Year round work
