Job Summary
This role provides advanced knowledge based service to customers. Wine Coordinators use relationship building techniques, product knowledge, and selling techniques in order to improve customer satisfaction as measured by customer feedback and increased store sales. They drive sales by building relationships and creating interest and enthusiasm with customers and team members. What will I do?
- Lead with our values, always help others and ensure the Company remains a great place to work for all
- Use knowledge of Wine to proactively seek out customers and engage them by asking probing questions to identify their needs, ensuring complete customer service throughout the entire experience
- Utilize passion for Wine while educating others on wine and foster a culture of continuous learning by facilitating tastings throughout the store
- Support the relationships with the Store’s various partners to drive sales
- Assist in maintaining the store appearance by unloading deliveries, stocking product, displaying proper signage, ensuring displays are well-merchandised, supporting and following the merchandising plan
- Assist in coordinating the activities of team members, ensure tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently, educate team members on products and processes, understand how to look up and track financial measures
- Stay up to date on the industry and customer taste profiles and share that knowledge with others
- Ensure team members properly use equipment and handle products, follow company job aids, human safety guidelines, and comply with the Company Policies and federal and state laws
- Perform other tasks essential to the proper functioning of the operation as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and related specialty beverages
- Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms
Preferred Qualifications
- WSET Certification
- Customer service experience, preferably in a food retail, grocery, restaurant, retail or Liquor shop setting
- Experience with merchandising, meal pairing and planning, and customer relations

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
