What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arts and Craft Camp Coordinator position at Christ Central Camp?
Description:
Plan age-appropriate arts and crafts projects for campers.- Provide list of necessary arts and crafts supplies to designated buyer prior to the start of camp.
- Work with arts and crafts helper(s) to prepare work area and supplies prior to classes.
- Lead/Teach arts and crafts projects to campers.
- Supervise arts and crafts helper(s) in assisting campers with projects, preparation and clean up of supplies and work area(s).
- Assist in supervising other camp activities as assigned.
- Actively participate in camp staff meetings.
Must hold basic Catholic Christian values and live a lifestyle reflecting those values.- Must recognize position as role model and refrain from actions/habits which diminish that role (i.e. drinking, smoking, illegal drug use, foul language, etc.).
- Must understand and like young people and enjoy the outdoors.
- Aptitude for planning, coordinating and leading arts & crafts activities for youth.
- Must be at least 21years of age.
- Must successfully complete Diocesan Camp Staff Training.
