Chief Administrative Officer (Full Time)
The primary function of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is to provide leadership for all church and subsidiary operations activities from an organizational and administrative perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Solving Organizational Problems: Focus on people, personalities, and how they intersect to carry out the work of the church.
- Driving Effectiveness: Launch new programs to serve the community in line with the church's vision.
- Ongoing Training: Provide training, leadership development, and fellowship opportunities for paid and volunteer staff.
Main Goals
- Relationally unite staff and volunteer leaders while increasing their leadership effectiveness.
- Expand the church's reach, partnership, and collaborative relationships within the broader community.
- Drive financial accountability and correlation between all areas of ministry and operations.
Reporting and Accountability
A monthly dashboard report is prepared by the CFO and approved by the CAO to inform the Lead Pastor, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees.
Leadership Development
Meet with 6-7 direct reports regularly to ensure personal growth, effectiveness in executing job responsibilities, and alignment with the church's Annual Goals and Five-Year Strategic Plan.
Culture and Environment
Help develop and reinforce a best culture and environment that leads to enjoyment of the workplace and high output of the staff to achieve the organization's stated missional objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years in middle to upper-management positions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
