Position description : The Facilities Assistant will provide support for the care and upkeep of all church facilities and all approved church events including maintenance, cleaning, set-up, and repair activities. This position reports to the Facilities Director.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide support for facility repairs and maintenance.
- Maintenance of grounds relative to landscaping and accessibility (snow / salt).
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of all rooms, restrooms, common areas, and sanctuary spaces.
- Provide oversight and assistance support to staff and non-staff functions at the church.
- Support key / security systems and assure building lock-up.
