Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor degree required and master's degree (M. A.) preferred.
Four to ten years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have valid driver's license.
Understanding of athletic equipment.
Familiarity with NCAA equipment and facility regulations.
Knowledge athletic facility / project management.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
Skills :

Demonstrates tact under pressure and treats others with respect.
Able to present information clearly, solve practical problems, and interpret instructions in various formats.

Knowledge :
Ability to analyze and interpret business, technical, and regulatory documents.
Strong writing skills for reports, correspondence, and procedures.
Proficient in presenting information and responding to questions from diverse groups.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software; able to quickly learn new systems, including the College purchasing system.

Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the staff member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in outside weather conditions; and is exposed to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
The job requires work in outdoor weather and exposure to vibration or electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
