POSITION PURPOSE : The Assistant Director of Enrollment assists the Enrollment team in the shared goal of increasing applications, enrollment and retention in support of the mission of CPA. The Assistant Director will play a pivotal role in representing CPA throughout the admissions process and guiding families through the process from initial inquiry to a smooth school entry experience.
DIRECT REPORT : Director of Enrollment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for assigned grades for the entire new student process from inquiry to acceptance
- Maintain records of admissions data, including student applications, school records, teacher recommendations, testing results, testing, as well as IEPs and any additional documentation needed for learning services support
- Partner with the enrollment team in implementing the Lower School enrollment testing model, which includes test scheduling, all communication, scheduling subs or outside testers, and assisting the Director of Enrollment with the parent program that accompanies testing times
- Responsible for the parent and student interview process. This includes managing interview schedules for multiple administrators, communicating with families, and arranging for google meetings as needed
- Coordinate as needed with CPA Communications team for enrollment team needs, from events to promotional packets
- Assists with event coordination and hospitality for admissions events including registration, tours, preview nights, parent nights, testing days, school fairs and open houses.
- Serve as the school’s Financial Aid (FA) liaison with families.
- Serve as on FA committee
- Manage the full FA process with families from initial application to sending the award letter
- Ensure follow up with families as needed in the process for additional information or documentation
- Assists with data entry, mailing projects and file updates
- Serves as Enrollment representative at events in support of the efforts in outreach and marketing
- Assists with tours, shadow days and greeting visitors
- Stays updated on relevant marketing trends and best practices in K-12 enrollment
- Provide ongoing support for new families to ensure a smooth transition into the CPA environment
