We are looking for a Digital Content Team Leader extraordinaire.

About the team | Ko te rōpū nei
The Digital Content Team creates, manages and promotes the libraries digital content through use of electronic resources, digital platforms, digital exhibitions and by engaging with groups and individuals in our community.
The Digital Content Team comprises 10 information professionals, with three Resource Description and Access librarians who describe material according to relevant standards, as well as a number of specialist roles that are responsible for creating, digitising, presenting and enabling access to a range of digital content.

As the Team Leader of the Digital Content Team, you will :
- Manage the development of digital content through supporting and empowering the team to achieve team, business unit and organisational goals
- Lead team members to ensure a high performance, positive culture and address any issues impacting team or individual performance in accordance with relevant policies
- Oversee the creation and promotion of digital content through the use of electronic databases, digital platforms, digital exhibitions and engaging with groups and individuals in the community
- Monitor digital content budgets, analyse expenditure and report regularly to the Content Manager on financial outcomes
- Foster and develop effective stakeholder, vendor and customer relationships.
Contribute to the planning and collaboration of the wider Content Team

Hours of work - Fulltime permanent position
Location - This position is primarily based at 180 Smith Street, Linwood
Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $108,248 - $120,276 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
