Joining our passionate, community-focused team, the role of Librarian - Community takes responsibility for :
- Serving customers by proactively identifying their needs, and recommending library resources
- Developing, promoting and delivering a variety of library programmes and services to our diverse communities
- Supporting the training and development of colleagues, particularly with digital technologies
- Assisting the leadership team to chart the team's course, and support and motivate colleagues
- Community outreach through the development of new and existing relationships

Hours : 37.5 - 40 hours per week.
Linwood Library is open 9.00-6.00 weekdays, late night on a Thursday until 7.00pm. Weekends are 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Hours for this position : Full-time. One Thursday late close (7.15pm) every seven weeks, and a rostered Sun-Thurs week and Tues-Sat week also every 7 weeks.
Position : Permanent, full-time.
Salary : The salary band for this position goes from $65,502 - $72,780 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
