Grants Manager

FLSA: Full-Time; Exempt

REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer

JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides operational support to the Christel House Network of Schools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Facilitate grant writing, reimbursements, compliance, and close out reporting and submissions.
• Coordinate with other staff on federal, state, and private grant compliance and reporting.
• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of all applicable fiscal reports for grant and donation programs and ensures the timely submission.
• Coordinates with key personnel at all levels to support proper and timely expenditure of grant funds in compliance with applicable guidelines and budget deadlines.
• Collaborates with network and building level administrators to plan, implement and monitor the requirements for state and federal grants. (NESP, Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, high ability, early intervention, etc.)
• Maintains grant fiscal records including but not limited to: grant budget, budget modifications, reimbursement reports, monthly expenditure reports, time and effort logs, fiscal reports, and any other correspondence that may be deemed necessary.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential or sensitive information.
• Assist with special projects as required and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 or more years related experience in grant management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in nonprofit and grant maintenance required.
• Self-starter, attention to detail, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in analyzing, reporting and recording financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and Power Point.
• An agreement with the mission statement and goals of Christel House Indianapolis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to look at a computer for long periods of time
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
