Full Time - Sales Support/Customer Service Rep
Job Duties:
- Handle inbound phone lines and call transfers
- Work with service customers, vendors, and manufacturers via phone to provide and collect pertinent information needed to accurately schedule service work, process purchase orders, enter order information into ERP system.
- Make outbound and receive inbound customer order calls and emails
- Assist customers with industrial tool & equipment questions/inquiries
- Assist all departments in their general duties and responsibilities as needed
- Accurate database entry
- Work with the purchasing dept on expediting purchase orders
- Cross train to cover co-worker absences
- Work toward continuous quality improvement
- Stay current with industry computer software
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
- Light housekeeping and other miscellaneous duties as needed
Qualifications:
· Intermediate experience using software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel required
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other employees of the organization
· Previous experience working in a team-based office setting
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Background in machining helpful
· ERP system knowledge a plus
