Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) is seeking a dedicated and visionary Homeschool Director to lead our robust Homeschool umbrella program. This program extends beyond record-keeping to foster a strong sense of community among participants.
The Homeschool Director will be responsible for developing and implementing curricula, providing support to homeschooling families, organizing monthly field trips and school-wide activities, and ensuring a personalized high school graduation experience.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to promoting school pride and supporting families within a biblically based educational framework, leveraging resources such as CAK’s Stellar Academic data system for efficient digital management.
Requirements:- Program Oversight: Direct and oversee homeschool programs, ensuring they meet educational standards and goals.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement homeschool curricula that align with educational standards and the organization's mission.
- Family Support: Provide resources, guidance, and support to homeschooling families.
- Community Engagement: Foster connections between homeschool families and the broader community.
- Staff Management: Supervise and support staff involved in the homeschool program.
- Budget Management: Manage the program's budget, ensuring resources are used effectively.
- Events and Workshops: Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and events for homeschooling families.
- Involvement with CAK: Collaborate with CAK day school staff and administration to support homeschoolers in participating in non-TSSAA sports, part-time CAK classes, and other day school opportunities.
- Stellar Academic Management: Utilize the Stellar Academic data system to manage electronic submissions of course titles, curriculum, grades, attendance, and payments.
