Description:
The Summer Camp Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the success of Camp CAK by supporting the Camp Director and managing the daily execution of camp activities. This individual will oversee the implementation of weekly themes, coordinate with staff to ensure preparedness and maintain a Christ-centered and engaging environment for campers.
Requirements:- Work closely with the Camp Directors to ensure weekly themes are effectively integrated into daily activities.
- Coordinate and organize schedules, ensuring all staff and campers are prepared for planned activities each day.
- Adapt activities as needed to maintain a seamless and enjoyable experience for participants. Provide a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where campers are excited to participate and feel valued.
- Assist in training camp staff on expectations for themed activities and daily responsibilities. Serve as a point of contact for staff to address questions or challenges related to program execution.
- Monitor activities to ensure staff are engaged and aligned with the camp's mission and values.
- Ensure all materials, supplies, and spaces are ready for activities each day.
- Communicate with staff ahead of time about schedules, special events, and daily responsibilities. Address any last-minute changes or challenges promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate openly with the Camp Directors, providing updates on daily activities and program execution. Report incidents or concerns to the Camp Director and assist with resolution as needed.
- Work collaboratively with all camp staff to ensure a cohesive and positive team dynamic.
- A love for the Lord, support the mission of CAK and possess a sincere desire to serve all those associated with CAK.
