Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously develop expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promptly resolve guest concerns and address issues efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
- Effectively communicate with the service department and provide timely updates on progress.
- Work closely with other technicians to share knowledge, solve problems, and achieve shared goals.
Qualifications:
- Possess a positive attitude and genuine desire to serve customers.
- Hold 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic or equivalent training.
- Hold ASE certifications or demonstrate a commitment to achieving them.
- Demonstrate ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles.
- Achieve or exceed hourly goals and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Demonstrate aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
- Evidence of strong communication and professional appearance.
- Show willingness to pursue long-term career development and growth opportunities.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects exceeding 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools at elevated heights above head level.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs.
- Demonstrate necessary dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Capacity to walk/stand for extended periods during work hours.
- Able to drive manual transmission vehicles safely.
- Proficient in navigating computer systems and software.
