Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:
- Technicians use their knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our customers
- Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and communicate customer concerns
- Solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results with other technicians
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and desire to serve customers
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred or plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by vehicle repairs
- Have needed dexterity for hand tool use
- Walk/stand for majority of workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Navigate computer efficiently
