Automotive Technician / Mechanic
The role of an Automotive Technician involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring high standards of service and safety while working in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use technical knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for customers
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across various vehicle makes and models
- Complete thorough inspections and repairs
- Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot customer concerns
- Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Lifting and/or moving objects over 100 pounds
- Working with tools on vehicles lifted above head level
- Navigating tight spaces within vehicles
- Using hand tools efficiently
- Standing and walking for extended periods
