Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking energetic and upbeat technicians/mechanics who have a positive attitude and a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnostics and repairs of vehicles for our guests
• Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete courtesy vehicle inspections accurately and honestly
• Work with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
• Foster high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Closely collaborate with other technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and desire to serve guests
• 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve
• Able to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
• Meet or exceed hourly goals
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
• Professional appearance and strong communication
• Desire for long-term career development

Physical Demands:

• Lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds occasionally
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Navigate tight spaces as needed for vehicle repairs
• Efficiently use hand tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Navigate a computer efficiently
