Job Description
Automotive Technicians are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude, with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests. Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and fixing vehicles for our guests using knowledge and skills
- Continuously building experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Working as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- FOLLOWING AND PROMOTING OUR HIGH STANDARDS OF SAFETY, CLEANLINESS, AND ORGANIZATION
- Working closely with the service department and effectively communicating concerns
- Collaborating with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and desire to serve guests
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Master Certified L1 Technician
- ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- Desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements
- OCCASIONALLY LIFT AND/OR MOVE OVER 100 POUNDS
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Navigate a computer efficiently
