Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lawn Care Crew Leader to join our team. As a Lawn Care Crew Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients' lawns and landscapes. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various lawn care techniques and the ability to operate both hand and power tools.
Duties:
- Mow lawns using push or riding mowers, ensuring even and clean cuts
- Trim and edge around walkways, flower beds, and other landscape features
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, and mulching
- Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and shears for various landscaping tasks
- Utilize power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws for efficient work
- Perform snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and techniques
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with operating hand tools for digging, planting, and pruning
- Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail for precise lawn maintenance
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work in various weather conditions
