Summary
As a Lawn Care Crew Leader at Spinniken Lawn & Irrigation, you will lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional lawn care and landscape maintenance services. We are also looking for team members who are willing to learn to eventually become crew leaders.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for potential crew leads but also crew members depending on experience.
- Oversee daily lawn care tasks including mowing and trimming for high end residential homes in Leelanau County only.
- Drive trucks and trailers to job sites while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Train team members on best practices for landscape maintenance and irrigation.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the crew and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with irrigation installation and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, plant types, and irrigation systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with landscaping work.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance is beneficial.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 52 per week
